APICalculators.com ("we", "us") is built privacy-first. This policy explains what data is and isn't collected when you use our calculators.

1. Calculator data stays on your device

Every calculation runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The numbers you enter — token counts, revenue, vector sizes — are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Some values may be cached in your browser's localStorage solely to remember your last session; you can clear this anytime via your browser settings.

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymized usage (page views, which calculator is used, general region). This data is processed by Google under its Privacy Policy. We do not collect names, emails (unless you subscribe), or personally identifying information through analytics.

3. Advertising

We display ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.

4. Affiliate links

Some outbound links (e.g. DigitalOcean, Supabase, Vercel) are affiliate links marked rel="sponsored nofollow". If you sign up through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking is tracked anonymously to measure performance.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe, your email is stored by our email provider (Substack/ConvertKit/Beehiiv) only to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold (essentially: your newsletter subscription). Contact us at hello@apicalculators.com.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
